Day 1: Tangier → Chefchaouen
Your tour begins in Tangier, where you’ll meet your driver and start heading toward the Rif Mountains. The road winds through scenic terrain and passes by Tetouan, a city known for its Andalusian influence. By afternoon, you’ll arrive in Chefchaouen, a town set against the mountains and known for its blue-toned streets. Take time to walk through the medina, visit small shops, and relax in the main square surrounded by cafés and local life.

Day 2: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Fes
Continue your tour through rural landscapes toward Volubilis. This archaeological site preserves the remains of a Roman settlement, where mosaics and stone structures still reflect daily life from centuries ago. Walk along its historic walls, visit Bab El Mansour, and explore sites connected to Sultan Moulay Ismail.

Day 3: Full Day in Fes
The Mellah is a Jewish quarter located in the old cities of Morocco with a walled boundary. The Fes Mellah is also walled and it has a fortified gateway. These Jewish quarters are located near the royal residencies which enabled its inhabitants to be protected from the wrath of the Muslim populace. The Fes Mellah was once solely inhabited by Jews. This was the first "mellah" in Morocco and originated in 1438. In the early 14th century it was founded by the Merinids, beside Fes.
The Madrasa Bou Inania is a madrasa founded in AD 1351–56 by Abu Inan Fais, who also founded the Madrasa Bou Inania in Meknes. The madrasa functioned as both an educational institute and as a congregational mosque at the same time. It is the only madrasa in Fes which has a minaret.
A cooperative where old techniques of how zellij and pottery is made. Option to participate in making zellij tile or pottery making. Great for shopping for a purchase of fabulous pottery, zellij tiled tables, zellij fountains and more.
The dyers market, located along Rue de Teinturies, is the best place to see the dying vats which have been used for centuries to soak the skins of sheep, goat, cows and camels after they have their hair and flesh removed. You will see many tanned hides colored with natural pigments ranging from shades of brown, black, turquoise fuchsia, yellow and orange.
The Chourara or the Tanner's Quarters is the most lively and picturesque souks in Fès. The Tanneries are often located near watercourses like the Wadi Fès and at a distance from residential areas due to the strongly unpleasant smells they produce. See the wide array of leather work, a tradition of Fes.

Day 4: Fes → Ifrane → Ziz Valley → Erfoud → Merzouga
Leaving Fes behind, the landscape gradually changes as you travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains. A stop in Ifrane introduces a town with alpine-style buildings and a cooler climate. Continuing through cedar forests near Azrou, you may spot Barbary macaques before heading south. The route follows the Ziz Valley, known for its palm groves and long stretches of greenery cutting through the arid terrain. By late afternoon, reach Merzouga. From here, a camel ride takes you across the dunes of Erg Chebbi, with time to pause for sunset views. Arrive at the desert camp for dinner and an overnight stay under the open sky.

Day 5: Merzouga → Rissani → Tinghir → Ouarzazate
Start the day early to witness sunrise over the dunes. After returning from the camp, continue toward Rissani, a town with a long trading history and traditional markets. The journey then passes through Tinjdad and reaches Tinghir, where nearby landscapes open into valleys and rocky formations. Continue toward the Dades region and Kelaat M’Gouna, known for its seasonal rose production.

Day 6: Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech
Begin the day by visiting key sites in Ouarzazate, including historic kasbahs and film studios where many international productions were created. Next, head to Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village recognized for its traditional architecture and its role in several well-known films and series. Walk through its narrow passages and explore the old structures built from earth and clay. In the afternoon, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. The road offers wide views before descending toward Marrakech, where you’ll spend the night.

Day 7: Full Day in Marrakech
Today focuses on exploring Marrakech with a local guide. Begin in Jemaa el-Fna square, where daily life unfolds through performers, food stalls, and market activity. Continue to landmarks such as Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and the Saadian Tombs. After lunch, spend time walking through the medina’s narrow streets, filled with shops and workshops. The evening is free to enjoy dinner and relax at your accommodation.

Day 8: Marrakech → Essaouira → Marrakech
Leave Marrakech in the morning and head west toward the Atlantic coast. Along the way, pass through areas known for argan trees, where goats are often seen climbing branches. An optional stop at a local cooperative offers insight into argan oil production. Upon arrival in Essaouira, explore the port, walk along the ramparts, and enjoy fresh seafood by the ocean. The medina offers a different atmosphere, known for its artistic character and handcrafted woodwork.
